Memberships to the Walter Payton Center are available to all current students, faculty, staff, alumni, their spouses/domestic partners and adult affiliates. The membership rate is per person with a 12 (twelve) month access agreement to receive listed price. If membership is absolved before 12 month anniversary, a penalty fee will be assessed. Membership and benefits received are non-transferable and non-refundable. Members are allowed a one time pass without their primary Id. An alternate photo ID will be necessary; notation to account will be made. No exceptions made after one time pass given.

To Participate-Bring Your JSU ID or REC- Card
Any member except students and faculty/staff will be issued a REC-Card to access the WPC. Current members will receive a REC-CARD at the time of membership purchase at no charge. A $10.00 replacement fee will be charged for lost REC-Cards. REC-Cards must be presented upon each entry and when requested for verification in all recreational activities and facilities. Faculty/Staff and Student ID’s with bar codes may be scanned for access.

To ensure all patron’s safety and security, affiliate members will be held to the same code of conduct that applies to Jackson State University’s students, faculty/ staff and families. Violations of the conduct code may result in suspension or cancellations of membership privileges. Use of the Walter Payton Recreation & Wellness Center is a privilege not a right, Jackson State University and the Office of Recreation Services reserves the right to withdraw/cancel any membership at its discretion, at anytime, and without prior notice.
