QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a current JSU student; excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to enforce Office of Recreation policies; basic computer skills; ability to handle several tasks with frequent interruptions; ability to work indoors and outdoors. Strong ability to prioritize, organizes, and maintains composure under highly stressful situations. Must have the ability to take initiative and make quick decisions. Most importantly, be able and willing to "LIVE WELL...PLAY HARD!" at all time.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift 45lbs comfortably. The work environment is fast paced and challenging requiring an individual to maintain activity the entirety of the designated work time. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. PAY RATE: Student Assistant pay rates may vary by area assigned within Recreation Services. It is determined by unversity pay standards for student employees on work aid and/or workstudy, experience/work history, and level of responsibility. Rates will be disclosed during your interview.
