Intramural Supervisor
Position Reports to: Assistant Director- Recreation Programs
Position Purpose: The Intramural Supervisor will administer the execution of intramural programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: (Other duties as assigned)
- Manage intramural team members (staff), participants, spectators and facilities during intramural events.
- Assist with recruiting, training, scheduling and evaluating intramural officials.
- Coordinate activities with facility and program staff.
- Office of Recreation Services representative in the absence of professional staff
- Ensure the safety of all staff and participants at each intramural event (inclement weather etc.).
- Complete administrative duties (score sheets, results, participation counts, supervisor reports etc.) as assigned.
- Initiating risk management protocol during medical or non-medical emergencies.
- Attend and participate in Recreation Services employee training programs and weekly staff meetings.
- Be proficient on all Recreation Services policies and procedures.

Intramural Assistant
Position Reports to: Assistant Director- Recreation Programs
Position Purpose: The Intramural Assistant will support all aspects of the Intramural program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: (Other duties as assigned)
- Conduct intramural registration on and off-site.
- Keep score and results of intramural events.
- Assist the marketing staff in ensuring that all information concerning intramurals is current.
- Complete and file all necessary intramural paperwork (sportsmanship reports, game sheets, schedules, incident reports etc.).
- Attend and participate in Recreation Services employee training programs and weekly staff meetings.
- Answer phones, take messages and provide customer service on a daily basis.
- Assist with event set-up and take-down.
- Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings.
- Be proficient on all Recreation Services policies and procedures.

Intramural Official
Position Reports to: Assistant Director- Recreation Programs
Position Purpose: Officiate Intramural and special event competitions
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: (Other duties as assigned)
- Officiate and keep score for various intramural team sports.
- Participate in mandatory referee clinics, staff meetings and evaluations.
- Ensure that the playing area is safe at all times.
- Attend and participate in Recreation Services employee training programs and weekly staff meetings.
- Initiating risk management protocol during medical or non-medical emergencies.
- Assist with event set-up and take-down.
- Complete game sheets and other reports as directed.
- Be proficient on all Recreation Services policies and procedures.

Recreation Program Assistant (Equipment Services)
Position Reports to: Assistant Director- Recreation Programs
Position Purpose: The Recreation Assistant is the front line representative of the Walter Payton Recreation & Wellness Center by assisting with informal recreation activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Other duties may be assigned.
- Be proficient on all Recreation Services policies and procedures.
- Maintaining the safety and security of membership access to the facility.
- Assisting with general office duties include tours, errands, stocking supplies, completing inventory, filing.
- Assist with checking out informal recreation & intramural equipment including processing of lockers, towel services, and pro shop sales by working within the software program.
- Assist with setup/breakdown of recreation program equipment.
- Providing customer service by answer questions by phone & walk up, assisting with reservations.
- Collaborating with Office of Recreation Service program areas for the successful facilitation of program registrations and event management.
- Assisting patrons, university offices/departments areas with facility reservations setups/breakdowns
- Provide customer service by offering risk management during medical or non-medical emergencies.
- Attend and participate in Recreation Services employee training's, programs, staff meetings.
