Rec Advisory Committee
Committee Purpose
The Recreation Services Advisory Committee will work in concert with the Recreation Services staff in assessing the direction of the office. The committee will be the campus' representative to the Office of Recreation Services and as such will express leisure needs and wishes of the university. The committee will report to and be under the auspices of the Director of Auxiliary Enterprises.
Duties Of The Committee
The Recreation Services Advisory Committee will function in an advisory capacity to the Director of Recreation Services concerning the needs of the university with respect to the development of leisure time programs, the use and maintenance of recreational facilities, and the policies applicable to such facilities and programs. The committee will advise the director on capital projects, program expansions, and the prioritization of program scheduling and facility usage. Fiscal matters including user pass pricing, facility rental rates, locker rental rates, and special population program prices should also be reviewed by the committee. The director will take under advisement all the input from the committee, but will retain the final decision authority as delegated by the Director of Auxiliary Enterprises.
